  • When you fall in love, your brain is flooded with natural chemical stimulants, especially one called phenylethylamine, which causes feelings of euphria and giddiness. That's why when you're totally head-over-heels in love, you're perpetually happy and can't concentrate on anything.
  • As you fall deeper in love, a different set of brain chemicals are produced, called endorphins. These have the effect of making you feel all secure and snuggly, so much so that just thinking of that certain someone gives you a warm, happy feeling inside.
  • Some people have a brain that craves phenylethylamine - in other words, they're hooked on the high they get from romance.
