Sup?
Heidi here. Just another lost soul in an unkind world. I'm cynical, sarcastic, and unforgivingly honest.
Still asking for more? Well here's the low down...
I'm from what used to be a "small town" in southern Louisiana. I'm about a 40 minute drive south of New Orleans. If you drive like me you can take at least 10 minutes off of that. My town is not so small anymore tho. I've watched it grow over the years, since I've lived here all my life... unless you count those two years I lived in Baton Rouge while attending LSU.
Yup, boys and girls, I'm a college drop out. Not real proud of that, but its who I am. I spent 3 semesters majoring in Computer Science and 1 semester majoring in Mass Communication/Journalism before I decided college wasn't where I wanted to be. Where I wanted to be was like 600 miles east of where I was. I'm not there either. I'm still here, in my quazi-small town. :P
I don't hate it though. Not most of the time. This is home. My family and my friends are here. Family? Yeah I have a large one. I'm the youngest of 5 girls. That makes me pretty spoiled. I'm daddy's little girl. The baby. My parents are still married. They love each other so much. For that I consider myself lucky. My oldest sister, formerly called "boo", had a huge impact on this family, for reasons I'm in therapy for. *shrug* Again, just part of who I am. She's like 35 now, married, and has two kids. Next in line is Rena. She just made 33. She's blind. She had a stroke when she was 9. She also has a disease called Sturge Weber's disease. I dunno if I'm spelling that right. And she also has epilepsy. Poor thing. I feel bad for her most of the time. For us, its been difficult growing up with a handicap sister... but again, its just made us strong people. Gi and Ger come up next. They're twins at 29. Complete opposites of each other but both super awesome. They are my best friends in the entire world. The three of us stick together like glue. Gi is married. Her husband is the best brother in the world. And she has the most adorable 4 kids. Ger just got married too! And then there's me. I just turned 26. That's a year over quarter of a century. Sounds old doesn't it? lol. So count them... we're a family of 16! Its hard to get us all in a photo!
Of course... I can't forget my kitty susie. She's my child! She's a 16-year-old siamese and I love her more than anything in this world.
I'm currently in school studying to be an auto mechanic. I'm learning interesting facts. I'm a year into the program and I have about 7 months of work left to do before I graduate. I work full time as a crane assembly mechanic. Its so fascinating. I love my job. I spend alot of time at the shop. In fact I have no life on weekdays because I work all day, come home, and study!! But on the weekends... I try to make time to go out and have some fun!
That's pretty much all I have to say... if you wanna know more, keep reading...
