Karen Akel
Karen Akel is a music
teacher whose main instruments are the clarinet and piano. She
was initiated into the Delta Omega Chapter at the University of
Kentucky in 1987. She holds the Sword of Honor and the Rose of
Honor.
Noi Doyle
Noi Doyle currently works
on staff at Mayfair Village. A vocalist, Mrs. Doyle was initiated
as a Patroness into the Delta Omega Chapter at the University of
Kentucky. She holds the Rose of Honor.
Jamie Goodlett
Jamie Goodlett was
initiated into the Gamma Upsilon Chapter at Morehead State
University. A vocalist, she is a charter member of the Lexington
Alumnae Chapter and holds the Sword of Honor and Rose of Honor.
Kristi Howe, Treasurer
Kristi Howe is a band
director whose main instrument is the French Horn. She was
initiated into the Eta Sigma Chapter at Eastern Kentucky
University. She is a Life Member and holds the Sword of Honor and
Ruby Sword of Honor.
Elizabeth Mahan
Elizabeth Mahan was
initiated into the Sigma Beta Chapter at Ohio University. Mrs.
Mahan is a pianist and organist. She is a charter member of the
Lexington Alumnae Chapter and holds the Sword of Honor, Rose of
Honor, and Rose of Dedication.
Kelly Mayes, President
Kelly Mayes is an orchestra
director whose main instrument is the violin. She was initiated
into the Eta Sigma Chapter at Eastern Kentucky University in
1997. She is a Life Member and holds the Sword of Honor.
Bridgette Wortham Meyers, Secretary
Bridgette Meyers is a band director
whose main instrument is the flute. She was initiated
into the Eta Sigma Chapter at Eastern Kentucky University in
1997. She is a Life Member and holds the Sword of Honor.
Catherine Oleska, Editor
Catherine Oleska is
currently a Cancer Registrar. Mrs. Oleska was initiated into the
Delta Gamma Chapter at the University of Florida where she played
the flute. She holds the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Rose
of Dedication.
Ruth Shoptaugh Olive
Ruth Olive was initiated
into the Sigma Pi Chapter at Louisiana State University where her
main instrument was the piano. She holds the Sword of Honor and
Rose of Honor.
Trudy Patch
Trudy Patch is a retired
piano teacher who was initiated into the Iota Phi Chapter at
George Peabody College. She is a Life Member, a Fifty Year
Member, a Charter Member of Lexington Alumnae, and holds the
Sword of Honor and Rose of Honor.
Diana Ramsey
Diana Ramsey plays the cello, and performs with the Lexington Community Orchestra during the school year. She was initiated
into the Eta Sigma Chapter at Eastern Kentucky University in
1999. She is a Life Member and holds the Sword of Honor.
Betty Sands
Betty Sands was initiated in
the Epsilon Chapter at Ithaca College. Mrs. Sands holds the Sword
of Honor, the Rose of Honor and in 1999 was given the Alumnae
Chapter Treasurer Award.
Joan Stafford, Vice President Ritual
Joan Stafford is an
independent piano teacher and church organist. She was initiated
into the Alpha Chapter at the University of Michigan. She holds
the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Rose of Dedication.
Allison Weitkamp, Vice President Program
Allison Weitkamp is
currently a music teacher who was initiated into the Delta Omega
Chapter at the University of Kentucky. Her main instrument is the
oboe. She is a Life Member and holds the Sword of Honor and Ruby
Sword of Honor.
