The Nuts On My Tree.....

Welcome to the tree!

I am not a professional genealogist, nor am I perfect (Just ask my husband). This is a work in progress, and I welcome any additions or corrections you may have to offer!

I have been working on my family history for about 5 years, and it's become more of an obsession than a hobby. My Great-Grandpa, Rolla E. Cowger started this in the 1930's and was also obsessed with it until his death in 1978. His son, Charles,or "Uncle Chuck" to me, continued the research, as well as his grandson's Charles Cowger Jr. and John Michael Larimer. I would like pay a special tribute to the four of them. They have passed on.   

I was born in 1972, and I remember well listening to my Great-Grandpa "Popeye" Cowger talking about our family's roots. He traveled all over the country, wrote hundred's of letters, made just as many phone calls. He would be amazed at how much information is available at the touch of mouse button!
