I'm just beginning to scratch the surface in researching our family, but hope, with the help of family members and fellow researchers, to be adding many more ancestors. Research indicates our family came from Tennessee, some migrating south to Texas, others going north to Kentucky and Illinois. Records show some Nelson family members scattered all the way to California and Hawaii. While the origins of our Nelson line is still a mystery, some family members believe we immigrated from Scotland. Time and research will tell!
