Angel Visits Sick Baby Prior to Death - My great grandmother lost a baby many years ago due to a prolonged illness. One night she was holding the sick baby in her arms when she noticed the room brightened. She looked up and saw an angel, glowing in white, carrying a staff, walk through the wall. The angel walked up to them and touched the baby's head with the staff and then disappeared. Shortly after that the baby died. My great grandmother told this to be the truth until the day she died.
Did Couple Give Angel a Ride? - I've heard of angels that walk the earth posing as someone in need, but I couldn't name a specific incident of this until recently when I talked to a woman who described just such a case. As she described it, a few days before Christmas in 1969, she was riding to Bowling Green with her husband and two kids. Her husband had been out of work for a while, and the truck was low on gas. It was cold out and was beginning to snow. Along the way, they saw an old man with a cane walking along the street in the cold. They pulled the truck over and offered the man a ride. The man got in and said he was going to his son's house. The man told them where to go, but when they got there, there was no house. The old man didn't understand this. Although the truck was getting lower on gas, and they worried about getting stranded, they drove the man around the backroads of Richardsville looking for his son's house. Finally the old man gave up and asked them to take him back home. By the time they got to the man's house the truck was almost completely out of gas. The old man thanked them for their trouble, and they waited to make sure he got into his house okay. The old man walked slowly up to the house and went inside. As they were driving away, nervous that the truck would not go much further, they noticed something extraordinary. The gage now indicated a full tank of gas. The family made it to their destination okay and only needed less than a dollar to refill the tank after more than two weeks of driving often. Curious about the identity of the mysterious old man, a few days after Christmas, the woman's husband returned to the house where they had left him. A young woman answered the door. He asked about the old man, but the woman seemed puzzled. There was no old man that lived there. And she didn't know anyone who fit his description.
Butler County Woman Kissed by Angel - 22 years ago at Dwayne's dad's house, Dwayne was a baby. Dwayne's dad was asleep in the bed. Dwayne was asleep in the playpin, and I was on the couch. I was lying on the bed with my daughter and looked out in front of me and there was a path. The ground was solid white, and the walls of the path were a brilliant blue. That’s the best way I can describe it in earthly terms. Then a tall beautiful angel appeared and reached out a hand to me. I took his hand and crossed over. You should see the angels up here-they are magnificent.” And that was it; she disappeared. I woke up in bed, and my husband was also awake. He asked me who I had been talking to. That Monday I went to work at the doctor’s office. I saw that the woman’s son’s name was written on the schedule to be seen. I asked the receptionist when she had made the appointment. She told me told me they had called earlier that morning. When the boy came in with his aunt, I was nervous, but before he went in the see the doctor, I hugged him, gave him a kiss, and told him his mother said she loved him. At this time, I didn’t tell his aunt why I had done this. I was afraid it might upset her. But I did have a strong feeling that God wanted me to tell her. I got over the cancer, and over the next few years, I saw his aunt several times but was to nervous to tell her what had happened. Then one day about seven years later, I saw the aunt, and she mentioned how nice I had been to the boy that day he came to the office. I broke down at this time and told her the whole story. She started crying, and I told her I was sorry for upsetting her. She said, “No, it’s okay.” She said that she had prayed for seven years that God would send her a sign that her sister had not suffered when she died. And this was the sign.
Bowling Woman Describes Encounter With an Angel - When I was eleven, I was riding my horse through a pasture. A thunderstorm came up and spooked the horse. It jumped over a fence and ran through some pine trees. I tried to duck but hit my head on a tree limb. I don’t remember hitting the ground. When I regained consciousness, I was lying on the ground with a terrible headache. I looked up and saw a bright white light, and an angel with curly blond hair appeared. He had the bluest eyes I’d ever seen. I can’t described how beautiful his eyes were. I’ve never seen any eyes like them, before or since. The angel had no wings. He was wearing a pure white robe with a gold belt tied around the waist. He reached down and touched my forehead. It felt like electricity went through my whole body. I asked, “Who are you?” He didn’t answer but said, “You’ll be okay. I’ll always be with you.” Then he disappeared. I fell unconscious again. When I woke up, my headache was completely gone.
Angel Visits Sick Twins - The following was described to me by a Warren County woman: My grandfather was a twin. His name was Troy. His twin sister's name was Tressie. When they were two years old, they both got pneumonia. They were have problems breathing, so my great grandmother was holding them in hers arms at night, keeping them propped up so they could breath. One night, in the middle of the night, a beautiful angel dressed in white came to her and told her she was going to have to take one of her babies. That night Tressie died.
Dark Angels
Most people know about angels from heaven, roaming the earth to protect us from harm, but many in Kentucky also believe in dark angels sent from hell. I have an aunt who believes she was once visited by one of these dark angels. One night she was awaken by the feeling of a presence in the room. She looked beside her bed and saw the dark shape of a man standing beside the bed. The figure was darker than the darkness of the room. She felt a horrible sense of being in the presence of utter evil, and she was too terrrified to move. The figure took one of its hands and layed it on her hand. She started to pray and shortly the figure disappear. Looking back now, she says she believes this figure was one of the devil's angels that had just happened to be passing through.
Butler County Woman Changes Her Ways After Encounter With Demon - I woke up one night and saw a mist coming under the bedroom door. The mist came right on top of me and formed a hand right over my face. It was like the hand of a demon. It felt evil. I tried to wake up my husband, but he wouldn’t wake up. I heard a voice say, “Soon you’ll be mine.” Then the mist moved away and slid back under the door and was gone. I got up, went into the kitchen and fixed a cup of coffee. The next thing I knew, I woke up in bed. I had forgotten all about the demon until I went into the kitchen. There on the kitchen table was an unfinished cup of coffee. My husband was still in bed. The whole thing came back to me, and I was terrified. I was afraid that soon the demon would come back for me. I called my sister, and she came over, and we went to a religious friend of ours. We prayed and prayed. Later I remembered that about a year before that, I had went into a store. A strange woman came up to me and told me I was the devil’s playground and that she would pray for me. After the experience with the woman and the demon, I’ve changed my ways.
Franklin Man Describes Disturbing Late Night Visitor - I was lying in bed awake with my eyes closed when I felt someone in the room. There was a window at the foot of my bed that allowed light from the streetlamps into the room. When I opened my eyes there was a dark figure that blocked the light. The figure was tall, about seven feet. It was wearing a black cloak but was so dark there seemed to be nothing inside the cloak but blackness. I blinked my eyes, but the figure was still there. I was too terrified to move. I called for my dog. I could hear the dog whining like he was afraid. I blinked my eyes again but could still see the figure. The third time I blink my eyes, the figure disappeared. At that moment, the phone rang. It was a client friend of mine. She was terrified. She told me that she had woke up and saw a dark, cloaked figure towering over the foot of her bed. She turned on the light, and it disappeared. She described the same figure I had seen.
