Dialects of Ziotaki

The written language is based on Middle Takaliapan Ziotaki, which became standard (mostly) and then refractured into dialects.  Here are the changes from written Ziotaki by dialect:

Takaliapan:

All vowels intact

Consonants: all fricatives lost, merged with corresponding stops (but ch j sh zh survive)

The -i- active ending changes to -y-

Balani (Ganitasan):

All vowels intact

Consonants: Voiced fricatives merge with unvoiced

Tanakiakira:

Sound system preserved intact

Gabukimei:

Vowels:

a e i o u ə ē ō ā (ē<ee, aa; ō<oo; ā<uu)

Dizaha:

All vowels intact

Consonants: Voiced fricatives merge with unvoiced; x>h

Dubuhi:

All vowels intact

Consonants: Voiced fricatives merge with unvoiced; x>h; f>p; h>0

Nopuzio:

Vowels: ē<ee, aa;  ō<oo

Consonants: t th n p f m k x ng ch sh (presumably voiced merged with unvoiced at all places and manners of articulation)
