Hi there. My name is Michelle and I am a 29 year old woman living in Warren, MI. I was born in Pontiac and raised up in the Marion/Cadillac/Evart area but recently moved back to Michigan after spending 9 of the last ten years in Kentucky and the tenth year in Texas. I am currently living with my dad and a zoo of animals, lol. I invaded his house bringing with me three dogs and two cats.
I am working as a senior citizen home caregiver and love it! I am interested in holistic/homeopathic care and hope to someday be able to combine the two and offer homeopathic minded at home care.
In the next couple of years I will be indulging in two of my lifelong loves for the first time - Poodles and Arabians. I have loved both ever since I can remember and am not quite sure why I always put both on the back burner for other breeds. I plan to remedy that!
Hopefully I will be getting a miniature poodle this spring from Kallista Poodles (breeder of the great "Jib"). I am hoping for a nice white bitch who will be my first conformation dog, agility partner and who knows what else! Assuming she grows up to be all that is expected she will go on to be my foundation bitch.
I am also in the process of purchasing an in-utero foal (actually the mare is not even bred yet!) from Dreamhaven Arabians' Sha-La Suprise and Harper Arabians' Majestic Marquis. I am learning more about Arabs as I go along but it is my understanding that Suprise is high Egyptian bred and Marquis is domestic bred. I have been a fan of Marquis for several years now, he is absolutely stunning and a super stallion. He had a very successful show career in his home state of Texas and passes on his tremendous temperment, great athleticism and gorgeous type to all of his foals. Suprise comes from a very nice line of show horses and should cross very well on Marquis. I look forward to seeing what my 2007 foal will look like!!
I spend a lot of time with my pets and a lot of time online, I can often be found on Delphi forums chatting with friends. I also spend a lot of my online time playing hold em poker at Pokerschool Online. Dad got me playing hold em and I hope to get good enough to play in some big tournaments if not go pro.
Most of my page is under construction. Over the last few years I haven't been very good about keeping it updated, then horsehomepages, where I had all my pictures stored and linked from, deleted most of my pictures and messed up the ones that remained, so I have had to piece together the pages with what pictures I have on dad's computers. I am working on it though!!
