I started collecting twenty some odd years ago
my collection had no direction. It was the thrill of the
hunt so to speak....the adventure...*smiles*
I collected many items that cost only a few dollars.
As my love for collecting grew , so did my mind
constantly craving bigger and better things.
of better value and worth.
Now that I've grown older and hopefully wiser
in life and my collecting. *Soft smiles*
I look back at the simple things I collected.
At the time I thought they might have
value one of these days, but now I can tell they were
just mere trinkets and many had the same kind of collections.
For the most part they will only decrease in value and have.
I look at the accumulation before me I see that its time
to put them all away. Wrap the senseless items up in tissue
paper and lock them quietly away in a old trunk, place them in
the attic with the memories I had when on the hunt.
most important lesson I've learned through the years is,
The rarity of the item is what makes that object stand out from
the rest. Sometimes the price may seem a little high at
first, but the best things are always high in price to begin with,
and will always keep their worth and increase in value, as time goes
most important lesson I've learned is that even though the price may seem
high for that rarity... Go for it....and hang on to it for dear life.
Treasure it with all your Heart
It will only keep getting better and better and only increase in its worth.
*Soft loving smiles* , Maggie
~~ From My Heart To Yours ~~
My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep;
The more I give to thee
The more I have,
For both are infinite.
