Dear Brother

I have once more taken this pleasure writing you to let you know that I am in tolerable health at this time more saw these I have been in this country hoping you may be in health I have wrote you several times for 12 months but have never had a answer from you or the family. I feel anxious to hear from you if I cant see you I don’t now that I have every thing many ways interesting to you more ? The is a probability of their being a division of the country which there should for hopes there wont be a opening for you if you should come on soon as possible if you should you come on bring with you letters of recommendation as people in this territory is very preferable ? In regard of them coming to this country and staying a while and going in debt and the running away I have fulfilled you request with in the course 12 months but I am doubtful you have not with me you requested me to write you which I have but I cant bring a answer from you. I have been informed the Indians have killed for are free? on the road that goes from Shawnytown to Mishawkia Whether there is any certainty of now not no doubt you have heard of the Indians killing five of the Rangers which the Ranger started after them and out of thirteen Indians they killed twelve that they got the thirteenth leapt in the water & they never got him I am told the Indians is getting very troublesome up the Mississippi and was a order from the Governor for draft for the Milishey if they cant raise volunteers which will be on the course of a few days. I do expect I should be glad You would give me a small firty? Of your ? While you was out with the volunteers this spring last I never heard you was out until a few days ago Mr. Hugh Mc Gary was at Shebbaleth left this place the first of this month blank blank blank blank of the family have blank are and whether any of them is married or not since I left there .I do expect if I should not be in Kentucky this fall nor this winter . I expect to start to Ma/// th T I am not positive within my own mind yet I under stand Grandfather has departed this life since my absence. Ephraim Hubbard was my brother but abferred that it appeared as adversary and as nemesis you with due respect & affection ? Brother .
