Attempted to send you the source I have for the name of Elizabeth.
Couldn't quite figure how to get the thing into email after I scanned
it. Couldn't get it small enough. I found this in a book at the
Glasgow library. Didn't have enough good judgement to note the name of
the book.

Hello ken,
Thank you so much for sharing your Douglass information with me. I don't have much on the children of William Douglass' second marriage. I can add to my infor. with what you sent.
Perhaps I can help you with a couple of items that will help round out your file: Below is an outline tree as I have it in my file. I got most of this info on William's children from from Francis Lattimore's will (Jemima's Father) He died in 1817 so he would not have known any of William Douglass' children from his second marriage.
What small amt of info I have on William's second marriage I got from other internet people and have not confirmed it.
George F. Douglass which you have listed as child of Elizabeth and William was actually George Lattimore Douglass (1808-1889). He is my ggf. I have quite a bit of info on him. He became very wealthy; was one of the founders of Western Union, had mail contracts from Wash DC to New Orleans. He is my favorite ancestor and I could go on and on about him. Trouble is, I've reached a brick wall with his father.
I would appreciate it if you would keep me in mind and should you find anything else on William, please share. Also, I don't know about William, but George also used the two ss (Douglass) I have many documents with his signature.
Again, Thank you for your help.
Mary Winn Anderson
(Would appreciate any corrections you have on the 2nd marriage children; I will compare what you sent)

, Dear Wesley and Inez,
I Thank you for givin~ me the information on Frederick Smith from. Cyrus Edwards'
book. It is very helpful. Enclosed you will find a copy of an afadavit made by my
grandfather William Clarence Davis during a family reunion in Kentucky in 1938. All
the children from both sides of the family gathered to verify information for Social
Security and to talk about the past. My grandmother was Fannie Crowe Tarter Davis I
from Edmonson Co Her parents were John Tarter and Helen Neagles. I have verified
most of the information in the affidavit except the part about the apprenticeships. I
can find no record of any of the three brothers working as carpenters except Asa,
the youngest, and that was not until he was 62 and living in Cave City. Any
information about the Davis family you can provide will be helpful. My great
grandfather was Elijah Hise Davis who married Arabelle Frank and his father was
Thomas Davis. son of Elijah Davis. I know Thomas was an abolitionist. worked as a
miller, was a constable and was County Surveyor when Cave City was laid out and
lived there. in his later years and was a farmer
Any information about any of my relatives would be helpful Let me hear from you
soon and thanks for your help.

Continuation of the Oct 17, 1807 session.
NOTE: Sometimes surveyor reports on roads seem rather boring. But these
surveyors lived on the stretch of road where they were appt - this can give
you an idea of where they lived and who their neighbors were at times.
Joseph HAYS appt surveyor of the road from Skaggs Creek where the Nashville
Road crosses to James HOLMAN's on Little Barren.Thomas WOODSON same from
AMOS or WOODSON's Ferry to Saml ISAACS instead of Benja GIST. Thomas MEANS
same from the Mulkey Meeting House [NOTE - this is in Monroe Co now - Old
Mulkey Church], to the State line [TN] near D. BROWNING'S. Same for Isaac
CONALLY instead of Wm MANSFILE [MANSFIELD] from the Courthouse to Skaggs
Creek. Frederick SMITH made motion that John GREEN, Wm RENICK, Elisha DUEST
[DEWEESE] and Moses COX (or any 3) view an alternation of a road through
SMITH's land. Report of a road from Granger's Mill to the Warren Co line
near Solomon GREER's. John FRANKLIN named surveyor of this last one.

SMITH CEMETERY
Latitude 37degrees 4' 30" Longitude 85 degrees 49' 18"
"This cemetery no longer exists. It is located between Coral Hill and Hiseville on a farm now owned by Junior Ervin. This place used to be known as Fredricksburg. Fredricksburg and the cemetery is mentioned in Cyrus Edwards "Story of Early Days". Take 740 north from Coral Hill about 2.0 miles. Turn right and cross Duff Branch. The cemetery is located north of a house and in line with a tree line that crosses Duff Branch."
I'm not sure why the book would say it no longer exists and yet give exact directions to find it. (I don't write them, I only transcribe them.
Here are the three people buried there.
