If you have been a mage for very long and have participated in hunts with otehr groups then you may understand why. In battle, others will depend on you to keep them alive and safe. This is not an easy task sometimes, especially in the heat of battlewhen many things are happening and there are many other people you are keeping an eye on. This can be tough even for a Grandmaster.
