Lord Kalatar was the founder of the Knights of Absolution and its first Guildmaster. Founded on the basis of helping all those who roamed the lands of Britannia, Lord Kalatar served as Guildmaster for two years after the founding of the guild. Sometime after the beginning of the Age of Shadows he decided that it was time for new leadership for KOA, for there was much in the land that needed his attention. As he prepared for his new travels to bring Absolution to those who needed it he thought of the perfect replacement in his absence. The Lady Jirel, former Guildmistress of the guild known as the Jackals was chosen to take over the Knights of Absolution. In the absence of Lord Kalatar there was no one better to lead the Knights onward. SO it is now that KOA flourishes under her leadership and shall continue so until one day another steps forth to become the Lord or Lady or Absolution.
