This page is a picture of my impressionistic work depicting various moods and emotions throughout the novel. Below the picture is a description.
The blue in the bottom left corner is at the start, when everyone is sad over the death of Jeremy's mother. The red spikes after it are symbolising anger that Jeremy faces when his Uncle steals his mother's farm. The green line is the path and journey Jeremy takes to be a soldier. To the right of the path is the yellow, showing the joy he has of learning to be a soldier/batman. The dark blue on the right of the path shows the hardships he faces. The bright yellow all around is his life as a batman. In general, he enjoys it. However, several trials await him which are shown by the dark blue spots in the yellow. The blue circle shows the past the haunts him. The red after the blue circle represents blood shed and war. The brown afterwards is when his life becomes neutral, and he goes off to school.
