I'm Sorry

I know that I need to say "I'm Sorry",
That I ended up hurting you this way,
And because you mean alot to me,
I want to find the right words to say

Sometimes we speak without thinking,
And once spoken it becomes too late,
And hurt someone who we care about,
Because our words just couldn't wait

So I am asking for your forgiveness,
and hope you accept my apology
If I could take back the words I said
I would gladly return them all to me

But I am not able to take them back,
As much as I wish that I was able to,
and now I can only say I'm sorry,
and regret so much, ever hurting you.
