From the 8th October, Julian took over from Joe Pecorino as Musical Director Skshp, involving keyboards, guitar and vocals.

Julian has been a performer, songwriter and actor for many years, working extensively in theatre, TV and rock 'n' roll. He started off doing children's work in schools and then on television in Rainbow. After appearing in various repertory companies around Britain he went on to appear in numerous TV shows including The Sweeney, Shoestring, Hammer House of Horror, Juliet Bravo, The Bill, Crocodile Shoes and Thin Air.

In the rock filed he has recorded and toured with Gerry Rafferty, Charlie Dore, Toto Caelo, Bananarama and Steve Harley, both in Britain and America. He is credited for many CDs, including Rage of the Heart(1987), Budgie(Original London Cast 1988), The Iron Man: A Musical(1989), Evita film soundrack(1996), Sheena Easton's A Private Heaven (for which Julian co-wrote a song with Charlie Dore, Strut, Richard Thompson's Watching The Dark, Linda Thompson's Dreams Fly Away, Richard & Linda Thompson's Sunnyvista.

Julian also appears in several movies such as Dancin' Thru' The Dark (1990), Mad About Mambo (1992, Director John Forte) and most notably Evita (1997), in which he plays Eva's (Madonna's) brother, singing vocals throughout the film - he can be seen in most of the scenes of the film.

In 1998 Bob Carlton, Artistic Director for The Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch, formed cut to the chase..., the country's only resident company of actor-musicians, for which Julian is Musical Director. He also has appeared in several of their productions including Brighton Rock and recently as the title role inFace, the musical for which he also co-wrote the songs.

Julian took over from Mat Devitt as Cookie in the West End production of Return to the Forbidden Planet. He hung up his apron several years ago, but was Musical Director for the touring production of Return to the Forbidden Planet(mounted by the Queen's and Richard Temple Productions.)

Julian will shortly be seen in the new movie Al's Lads, playing Al Capone. Also we reckon he was in the recent Burger King adverts : )

Julian is currently appearing in 125th Street at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
