Wayne's soft-spoken voice and humble spirit belie a magnificent voice and extraordinary talent. He studied music at Brunel University, where he won the prestigious Instrumental Prize. Since leaving University, he has worked as a vocal tutor, coaching individuals and groups, most notably Brunel's College Choir. He has been singing for 23 years and developed his distinctive tones in his local church, where he also conducted the church choir.

In addition to his work as a session singer, Wayne has begun to focus on developing his solo career. his credits include recent work with Sir Elton John, The Spice Girls, Tom Jones and Robert Palmer. TV credits include Top of the Pops, the detective series Maisie Raine and various commercials. He has also contributed to a collaboration entitled Shout! which he says is "a vocal stomp with classical, jazz and operatic influences". Since joining LCGC a year ago, Wayne thanks God for the doors that have opened to him, including the many opportunities to travel to Japan, Africa and Europe.
