Michael Henry was born in London and trained at the Royal College of Music. His extensive music credits include guest and support vocals to artists including Michael Jackson, Lisa Stansfield, Ray Charles, Bo Diddley, Roy Orbison and the Beach Boys, and he has sung with The Pet Shop Boys, The Flying Pickets, Cliff Richard, Dave McAlmont and Blues Brothers-influenced band Buddy Curtess and The Grasshoppers.

Mikey has performed at concert and festival venues around the world including Wembley Stadium, Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham NEC, Glastonbury, Reading and Amnesty International Festival.

Mikey's stage work includes performances with many of the world's leading companies including English National Opera, Royal Opera House, Glynebourne, Matrix Ensemble & Ensemble of Frankfurt. His extensive television apppearances include Killing Time, New Year, Motion and Emotion for the BBC; and The Empress for Channel 4. Michael was the presenter of the 1992 Young Musician of the Year, and prior to joining The Official Tribute to the Blues Brothers he was the lead vocalist in The Tarantinos which toured throughout the world including performances at Montreux Jazz Festival. He continues to be co-producer, writer and featured artist with Cut 2 Taste.
