Welcome to the official home of Ghetto Wiffle Ball. This league is made up of about 20 High Schoolers from Winchester, Ky. This year will be the first ever full season at Ghetto Field. We will still hold the 5th annual Ghetto Classic this summer but we will also hold a league complete with 6 or 7 teams made up of 3 players. The season will last nearly all summer and we will play 1-2 games a week depending on peoples schedules. I will select 7 managers (one for each team) and we will pick a date to have a draft where they will pick their other 2 players for the upcoming season

Spring Training A Success

We have had close to 10 games this spring training and all of them have been great. Players are getting a lot of action in before the season rolls around which is only about a month away. If anyone who wants to play in some spring training games is checking this website just let me know when you would like to play and get a team together and we will go at it again. The best player in spring training so far looks to be kalan or peanut, both have had strong showing at the plate and on the mound. Hopefully we will get more players who want to play this upcoming season to come out shortly.

Ghetto Field To Get Improvements!!

During the spring we will be looking for ways to improve our beloved field. Although to the dismay of most the Big Blue Meanie 10 foot outfield wall made up of tarps will probably be done away with for most of the year. We will be looking into purchasing 12 foot tall netting to cover the fence to rob homeruns this year. Netting wont catch wind and nearly knock my fence over like the tarping and it wont look as tacky on my backyard fence all summer.
