A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT TO ALL PARENTS.

Hello Parents

The Frankfort Junior Optimist Club will provide your child the opportunity to grow as an individual and as a citizen by developing leadership skills and participating in the development and carrying out of community service projects. And, yes they do have fun! This club is for boys and girls in grades four through ninth.

The FJOC meets the first Sunday of each month at Completely Kentucky (Second floor) across from the Old Capitol on Broadway. Meeting time is 3:00pm and the meeting will conclude by 4:00pm. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend meetings and events. When you are present with your calendar, we can better plan the dates for projects and other activities.

The officers of the club plan and conduct their meetings. The officers are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer who are elected annually.

Dues are $1:00 per month, which may be paid annually or any other way which best meets your needs.

Junior Optimists are a part of Optimist International with clubs worldwide. The FJOC is sponsored by the Frankfort Optimist Club, which is now in its 54th year of service to youth in our community.

My name is Wayne Dunn, and I am a member of the Frankfort Optimist Club since 1992. I also serve as the sponsor of the Junior Optimist Club. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have or visit with you in your home to discuss this wonderful opportunity for your child. PLEASE CALL ME AT 502-875-5348
