Summer Stage has a very interesting story.This filly was taken out of a claiming race for the pontential her pedegree showed. She was scratched from the race at the last minute because she refused to enter the gate, and Florence caught her old trainer whipping her.Luckily there were some police on hand and that horrible man was arrested.Since she's been at Falcon Ridge, Stage has improved drastically. She has but on 30 pounds and her scars are healing. Best of all, she's learning to trust.She's desplayed a lot of talent on the track, winning the Acorn Stakes in her second start, then winning the CCA Oaks a race later.
