We begin with age-appropriate environments that encourage children to learn, play and explore. Books and blocks. Puppets and paper. Toys and tambourines. You name it. There are sticks for counting, seeds for planting and places for exploring. If you're a young child, you'll find an endless assortment of activities that engage your interest and stimulate your mind.
Parent/Teacher Meetings:We plan formal meetings throughout the year to discuss your child's progress and get your feedback. You can arrange additional meetings anytime during the year with your child's teacher or your Center Director. We firmly believe that good communication between teachers, parents and children is key to your child's success.
Kids grow and change every day. They listen for new words. Try new things. Learn a song. Build a block city. Or climb on a jungle gym.
At Bo Peep’s Learning Center, our experienced teachers and staff support their investigations. All of our staff members either have or are in the process of recieving thier CDA, and Commonwealth Child Care Credential. They love to share their excitement, applaud their classes success, and we support parents, too, by making sure Bo Peep’s is the kind of place where kids have fun, learn and want to be when they can't be at home.
Most importantly, at the heart of every project and activity, there's a specially trained teacher and an age-appropriate curriculum to lead the way. Because children learn differently than adults. They need hands-on experiences and get-on-the-floor teachers. They need warmth and attention. They need enthusiasm and encouragement. Most of all, they need the joy and challenge of doing it themselves. Because that's what helps children learn and grow, and that's our mission at Bo Peep's.
We know what science has proved: children's early experiences are critical to how they fare in school and later in life. We also know kids learn by doing, and for kids, play is an important part of that learning. That's why we carefully plan each day to nurture and support your child's growth and development.
