Murray Electronic Journal

June 1, 2003 Robert Clifton cliftor@eudoramail.com New Form of Newspaper Robert Clifton who graduated from Murray High School in 1953 has started a new form of reporting local news in response to a new FCC ruling which allows one person or corporation to own an unlimited number of news outlets.
Mr. Clifton agrees with other critics of the new regulation that such deregulation might allow one source for all our news which would tend to block out dissenting opinions. With this new source of news invented by Mr. Clifton, each city can control itís own news and voice itís own opinion without fear of economic reprisal.
Local people will have a greater voice for their community through unedited opinion pieces.
