AT THE BEGINNING
The beginning of our plight together started on December 7th, 2002. The Shelby Valley High School Marching Band, who I am a former member of and Amy is a current member of, was participating in the Christmas parade. That morning, as we waited to load the bus, Amy told me what I had been waiting to hear for a long time. Her and her prick of a boyfriend had broken up. I had always had feelings for Amy but they didn't become really apparent to me until I was a senior. Now I had my chance. We went to Gatti-land afterwards to eat so I made my plans to play my cards just right. We start talking, go out on a few dates, and then, on December 16, 2002, we was officially seeing each other. My life had meaning all of the sudden.

ARE NOW
From the beginning, we knew we had something special. Now it has blossomed into a beautiful symphony of love, laughter, and happiness. As of now, we have been religiously seeing each other on Fridays and Saturdays every weekend if at all possible. We go to various parks, movies, basketball games, band practices, and do everything on the spur of the moment. But most of all, we enjoy just sitting somewhere quiet and just talking. We really connect on so many levels. As of now, we have been together for three months and a half months and going as strong as ever.
Update-4/30/03
Saturday night was a very fun night for the both of us. It was Amy's junior prom. We had such a good time. We took pictures at her relatives' house, my house, and had professional pictures taken. We double-dated, so to speak, with her best friend and one of my best friends so we met them at her grandparents place, took pictures there also, and we all ate at the Landmark Inn. The prom started at 8 o'clock and went through midnight. The prom was good in itself but the DJ sucked poop. The songs kept skipping all night but I didn't let that ruin my night with Amy. After the prom, we stayed for Project Prom until 6a.m. We had a good time then too but mostly because we were with each other. We also tried to play cupid with our friends but it didn't turn out the way we hoped so that was kind of a bummer.
Overall, even though the DJ blew, our friends didn't hook up, and the last song was "Baby Got Back," not to mention the cuts, scrapes, bruises, and cracked skulls of the night, we still had a great time because Amy, my little goddess, looked ravishing as always, and as usual, it doesn't matter what we do, as long as we are together. As of now, we have been dating for 4 and 1/2 months and as strong as ever. I love you Amy. Please never forget that!!!
Update-8/20/03
A few months ago, Amy and I had another milestone in our relationship. At the end of June, we went on our first vacation together. It was one of the most romantic places you could ever hope to take the person you love. It was Hilton Head Island off the coast of North Carolina. It was a beautiful, clean, and non-commercialized beach which means there is no signs to obstruct your view, no trash in the water, and fewer people. We couldn't have had a better time than we did. We laid on the beach and got in the ocean every morning and of course, worked on our tan. The whole island also has specially paved roads alongside the main roads specifically for bicycles, so we rented bikes for the week and man, did we ever get our money's worth. Most people would stay around the condo or relax on the beach but not us. We biked all over that island and seeing all that it had to offer.
As nighttime rolled around, we would gear down a little and hang around inside the condo until the sun started to set. Then we would grab a towel and head down to the beach to watch the sunset on the ocean and then, once it got dark, we would lay the towel out on the sand and gaze up at the stars for hours.
Overall, it was the best time I have ever had on a vacation not because it was the first time I went to Hilton Head Island, but because it was the first time I ever got to have Amy all to myself for an entire week. Two months later, I am still wishing I could go back to that week and freeze time so we could stay there for as long as we like.............together!!! As of the time this update had been logged, Amy and I have been seeing each other for over 8 months and still going strong!!! Update-8/24/05
Well, it's been a while but I finally found time to update this site. A lot has happened since I last posted an update. In the past two years since, I have graduated college, gotten a job, and yes my loving girlfriend Amy and I are still madly in love. We still go out every weekend and we still enjoy each other's company every chance we get. I am now 21 and she is 19. Amy is now a sophomore in college and is working at a gym.
Continuing what has turned out to be yearly tradition, Amy and I have been back to Hilton Head Island twice since I last updated this site. Both years were great but the thing that sticks out in my mind is from last year when we took our nightly walk on the beach. A storm was brewing up that night but nevertheless, we went walking. As we were walking along the ocean, we passed the lifeguard's tower. We decided to take a rest and we climbed up. As we were sitting there starring at the now stormy night sky, we could see lightning offshore. The nice part about it was that we didn't care that it was getting ready to storm. We just sat there watching as we cuddled up to one another.
Also, it seems there is another tradition starting. For the past two years, Amy and I have gone to World Changers and loved it both times.
No matter what we do, whether it be a mission trip, vacation trip, or a simple movie, we love it as long as we are loving it together. As always, I will keep adding to this site as I find time but rest assured, I can always find time for my beautiful and loving girlfriend, Amy.
