Absher Farm’s Riding Instruction program is designed to teach the basics of safe horsemanship and the care of horses and ponies. This, in turn, helps develop responsibility, sportsmanship, leadership, and self-confidence in you or your child. Our goal is to develop a well-rounded horseperson that is capable of riding safely and tactfully, knowledgeable in the care of horses and ponies (horse management), and fair and friendly to their fellow students and horses in both teamwork and competition.
