I have a 5 year old Kindergartner, a 10 year old 5th grader and a 12 year
old 6th grader. My kindergartner is very smart but is a very active little boy.
He wants to be busy and it is a challenge to keep him so. I have to include
a lot of hands on things for him. My 10 year old daughter is ultra cooperative
and diligent in her school work and it is really easy to teach her..
My twelve year old has ADD , OCD, and impulse control disorder.
He has a very bad attention span problem. This is a major consideration with
how his lessons are planed. He also takes a lot of patience.

After reading that information your next question is : Is it worth it?
The answer is yes. My children have learned so much and progressed
well since leaving public school. I have really enjoyed watching them "get it".
My 12 year old no longer feels stupid. That's how public school
teachers made him feel. Don't get me wrong there are good teachers in public
schools. They do not have the time to spend on one student with
problems. In public school the teacher makes all the difference.
A good caring teacher is hard to find.

Its also worth it because my children are being taught how to think logically
and think on there own, I also teach all sides to everything
in Science and History. The children in public school are only taught
one sided History. My children also learn the bible and about god.
God is in all aspects of our learning.
Morals are definitely not taught in public school.
