Lexington Catholic's rallied from a 20-14 deficit in the first half to defeat Pikeville 52-27. Lexington Catholic led 28-20 at halftime despite only running 10 offensive plays compared to 42 plays by Pikeville. The victors were aided in the first half by a 95 yard kickoff return for a TD by Billy Jack Brown and a blocked punt and recovery by Jake Conner that led to another touchdown. Lexington Catholic outscored Pikeville 17-0 in the second half until Pikeville's Daniel Harmon scored on a 65 yard run with 2:05 left in the game.
Lexington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 349 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized seven times for 59 yards and had one pass intercepted. Pikeville had 19 first downs and 382 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized seven times for 40 yards and had a pass intercepted. The Panthers ran 65 plays compared to 39 for Lexington Catholic.
Greg Raglin led the Lexington Catholic ground game with 89 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Konner Vasilko carried the ball three times for 57 yards. Nic Ward completed 12 of 15 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Lee Ramsey caught seven passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. Jonathan Bush added four receptions for 50 yards. Billy Jack Brown had kickoff returns of 95 and 74 yards. Jake Conner led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles. Lane Pumphrey added six solo and two assisted tackles. Kevin Ebbit and Devon Williams each recorded six solo and one assisted tackles. Ebbit also intercepted a pass.
Daniel Harmon led Pikeville's ground game with 180 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries. Josh Mullins carried the ball eight times for 79 yards and a touchdown. Blake Branham completed six of 15 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Tyler Baker caught five passes for 105 yards and a TD. J. R. Robinson led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.
