Madison Central (3-0) vs. Tates Creek (1-2)

The score was tied 13-13 at halftime but Madison Central exploded for 33 points in the third quarter to take a 46-25 victory over Tates Creek.  Madison Central had shut out their previous three opponents by a combined score of 107-0.  A combination of an explosive Madison Central offense and three Tates Creek turnovers in the third quarter ensured the outcome of the game.

Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 352 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized seven times for 67 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Tates Creek had 20 first downs and 327 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized four times for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted. 

Isaiah Kavanaugh led the Madison Central ground game with 155 yards and two touchdowns on five carries.  Keshawn Simpson carried the ball 11 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns.  Zac Coldiron completed seven of 13 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Isaiah Kavanaugh caught three passes for 63 yards and a TD.  James Ballew led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles.  Mark Oldham added four solo and four assisted tackles.  Keshawn Simpson recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.  2.5 of Simpson's tackles resulted in losses totalling 16 yards.

Rozell James led the Tates Creek ground game with 124 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Chris Kemplin completed 20 of 31 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  LaRobert Bett-Grant caught six passes for 32 yards and a TD.  Darian Carter caught four passes for 39 yards.  Joe Conlon led the Commodore defense with three solo and five assisted tackles.  Andrew Barnott added one solo and six assisted tackles.
