Bryan Station's offense got off to a slow start on a cold and rainy night but outscored Ashland 21-7 in the final quarter to earn a 28-14 victory. Ashland led 7-0 at halftime on a 59 yard TD run by Josh Alber and a conversion kick. Bryan Station finally tied the score with 6:54 left in the third quarter on a 43 yard run by Patrick Cornett and a conversion kick. Bryan Station scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to take a 28-7 lead before Ashland added a late touchdown.
Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 327 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized four times for 40 yards, lost three fumbles. . Ashland recorded 11 first downs and 296 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 59 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.
Patrick Cornett led Bryan Station's ground game with 222 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Chaz Mitchell added 40 yards and a touchdown on four rushing attempts. Brady Boling completed four of 12 passes for 26 yards. Chaz Mitchell caught three passes for 15 yards. Dharan Mason led the Defender defense with three solo and six assisted tackles. Isaiah Davis added three solo and six assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling five yards. Jordan Taylor recorded three solo and five assisted tackles.
Josh Alber led Ashland's ground game with 101 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Rashard Carter added 90 yards on 24 carries. Sam Hunter recorded 60 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Hunter completed four of nine passes for 45 yards with an interception. Cody Plank, Josh Miller, and Bryan Combs, each had one reception for 13, 12, and 11 yards respectively. Stephen Burns led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles. Josh Alber added three solo and three assisted tackles.
