Friday November 30

Class A Playoffs

Lexington Christian Academy  45    Hazard  21
QB Lucas Witt and RB Domonique Haydenled the offense and the Eagle defense made some key second half plays to give LCA the victory.  Hazard drops to 13-1 for the season.

Beechwood  49    Frankfort  17
Beechwood trailed 10-0 after the first quarter but rallied to defeat Frankfort behind 162 yards and three TDs on 22 carries by Neico Teipel.  Frankfort lost four fumbles in the game.

Class 2A Playoffs

Newport Central Catholic  31    DeSales  3
Newport Central Catholic scored 21 points in the third quarter to break a 3-3 halftime tie.

Class 3A Playoffs

Louisville Central  17    Paducah Tilghman  14
Louisville Central advances to the championship as Rizik Lado kicks a 30 yard field goal in the closing seconds.

Belfry  62    Breathitt County  28
The Pirates hand Breathitt County their first loss of the year.

Class 4A Playoffs

Lexington Catholic  34    Harrison County  0

Lone Oak  38    Warren East  35
Jack Coorts kicked an 18 yard field goal with five seconds remaining to give the Purple Flash the victory.  QB Corey Robinson continued his aerial attack with 484 yards and four touchdowns.

Class 5A Playoffs

Highlands  49    Lincoln County  21
Highlands raced out to a 49-0 load at halftime.

Bowling Green  35    Owensboro  13
Bowling Green scored 21 unanswered points in the second half.

Class 6A Playoffs
Louisville Trinity 56   Boone County 21
St. Xavier 31   Meade County 3
