Henry Clay has been led on the ground by Rod Johnson with 1297 yards and 22 touchdowns.  QB Salin Simpson has completed 120 of 178 passes for 1693 yards and 18 touchdowns.  Simpson has also got it done on the ground with 478 yards and seven scores.  Clark Jeter leads the receivers with 29 catches for 637 yards with five touchdowns.  Henry Clay has averaged 45 points per game and 446 yards per game of total offense.

DeMario Richardson has led Lafayette's ground game with 584 yards.  Chris Tune has been a jack of all trades this season, playing QB/RB/WR on offense and has accounted for 920 yards this season.  Jonny Meyer has caught 17 passes for 301 yards.

Lafayette weathered an early 14-0 deficit, trailed 21-10 at halftime, and roared back to hand Henry Clay their first loss of the season 37-21.  The Generals shut down the high powered Henry Clay offense in the second half by holding the Blue Devils to six yards passing and slowing down the ground attack.  Lafayette's ground game also came alive in the second half as they had recorded a negative yardage at halftime.  The Generals got a lift on offense by the return of Enrique Shaw from an elbow injury.  Shaw caught an 11 yard TD pass and scored on a 75 yard run with both scores coming in the final quarter.

Lafayette held a 366-268 yard advantage in total offense but trailed Henry Clay 18-17 in first downs.  Lafayette lost a fumble and was penalized six times for 77 yards.  Henry Clay lost a fumble, had two passes intercepted, and was penalized seven times for 50 yards. 

Enrique Shaw led the Lafayette ground attack with 97 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Logan Bunch completed 16 of 22 passes for 245 yards with two touchdowns.  Scott Bodkin caught four passes for 102 yards with a TD.  Trey Shaftner led the General defense with one solo and 12 assisted tackles.  Fred Pennington added two solo and eight assisted tackles while Scott Bodkin recorded three solo and five assisted tackles.

Rod Johnson led Henry Clay's ground game with 156 yards on 28 carries.  Salin Simpson added 33 yards on 10 carries.  Simpson completed six of 15 passes for 87 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.  Clark Jeter caught three passes for 45 yards with one TD.  Case Allin led the Blue Devil defense with three solo and 11 assisted tackles.  Stephon Burton added four solo and three assisted tackles while Chris Alexander added four solo and three assisted tackles.
