Class A Playoffs

Mayfield 35    Bardstown 21     
Mayfield scored five touchdowns on a defense that had given up only 50 points in 13 games.  The Tigers had recorded eight shutouts this season.  Mayfield's ground game was led by Tristan Dumas and Josh Hatchell with 110 and 103 yards respectively.
 
Newport Central Catholic 35    Somerset 10  
Michael Vicars led the NCC offense with 220 yards with TD runs of 21, 4, and 33 yards on 28 carries.

Class 2A Playoffs

Russell 20    Belfry14   
Casey Clark rushed for 108 yards including TD runs of 3 and 1 yards, and intercepted a pass late in the game to ensure Russell's victory.
 
Owensboro Catholic 28    DeSales7   
Owensboro Catholic QB David Woodward threw TD passes of 4, 25, and 16 yards to lead the Aces to victory.

Class 2A Title
December 3rd 3:30pm at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville
Russell (13-1)    at    Owensboro Catholic (13-1) 

 

Class 3A Playoffs

Bowling Green 42    Bullitt East 14
Anthony Davis scored on TD runs of 1, 60, 6, and 7 yards to lead Bowling Green to victory, handing Bullitt East their first loss of the year. 
 
Lexington Catholic 48    Rockcastle County 20
Lexington Catholic held a slim 21-20 margin at halftime but outscored Rockcastle County 20-0 in the third quarter to earn the victory.  QB Justin Burke threw for five TDs, giving him 62 for the year—a new single season Kentucky record.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here]

December 3rd 11:30am at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville
Lexington Catholic (13-1)    at    Bowling Green (13-1) 

 

Class 4A Playoffs

St. Xavier 62    Warren Central  12
Victor ran for 132 yards with TD runs of 4, 4, and 23 yards while Michael Mattingly added 110 yards and TD runs of 20, 19, and 25 yards as St. Xavier improves to 14-0.
 
Trinity 41    Henry Clay 20  
QB Nick Petrino passed for 208 yards and two touchdowns and ran 87 yards and a score to lead the Shamrocks.  Blayne Donnell added 190 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here]
