Game of the Week
St. Xavier  44   Lexington Catholic   7
A tale of two seasons?? At least, a tale of two weeks for Lexington Catholic.  The Knights captured a thrilling 43-42 victory over Boyle County last week but fell to earth with a "thud" this week.  St. Xavier got excellent line play as they rolled up 427 yards on total offense.  The "D-Line" kept QB Justin Burke under constant pressure tonight as he could only manage nine of 27 passes for 109 yards.  The fact remains St. Xavier is very good and Lexington Catholic will have an "off" week to regroup before they entertain Scott County at home.
