The teams traded field goals in the first half as they teams left the field at halftime with the score deadlocked 3-3.  The seccond half became the Aubrey White show as the Henry Clay star led his team to a 20-10 victory and their fifth district win of the year.  Henry Clay led 6-3 midway through the third quarter when White made one of the key plays of the game.  White was standing in the end zone waiting to punt.  However, the snap was high and he was forced to virtually "climb the ladder" to pull down the high snap, but he recovered to get away a 42 yard punt to the Henry Clay 48 yard line.  The Blue Devils' Chris Orth then intercepted a pass at the Henry Clay 32 yard line and Aubrey White then took a pitch and fired a pass to Clayton Heien who went 68 yards for the score.  This score gave Henry Clay a 13-3 lead after three quarters.

White struck again in the fourth quarter as he made a circus catch in the end zone for a TD on a 20 yard pass from Salin Simpson to make the score 20-3.  Dunbar cut the lead to 20-10 on a one yard run from Chris Coleman with 7:26 remaining on the clock.  This was as close as Dunbar could get and the Blue Devils left the field with a key district victory.
