Transformation of our house in Neon, Kentucky

Our house has a broad Kentucky grin. This summer a wonderful parish, St. Paul Parish in North Canton, Ohio and a group of its dedicated men and women changed our needy appalachian house into a thing of beauty.

Ninety-five degree temperatures did not daunt the valiant efforts of these men to insulate, side, and renew the windows of the residence of the Sisters.

Neither did the pouring rain dampen their perservance.

And of course, beside every man is a very important woman. Besisdes cooking and cleaning, they even found time to walk in the neighborhood and make friends with our wonderful appalachian people. Of course, they had time to shop at the local craft and artisans shops.

Five days after beginning, the "crew" could look with pride on their accomplishment.

Nick Lucilio; Arden Gill; Tom Girsez; Gary Whecter; Phil Zepp; Earl Roberts; Tom Zucal; Donna Gill; Terry Stauffer; Paulette Wolfe.

The Benedictine Sisters say "thanks" to a marvelous bunch. See you next year!!
