2001
The March of Dimes fundraiser was a huge success this year. Our goal was
to have 20 team walkers and raise $500.00. We raised $840.79. On Walk Day
(Saturday, May 12) we had 25 team members show up to walk.
Thanks to Patty Ingram for taking the Spring Time Delights sales and to
everyone who sold items from the Spring Time Delights catalog. All proceeds
given to KCCD from the Spring Time Delights sales went to the March of
Dimes. Thanks to the Security Reception Officers and Sharon Ferguson for
selling shoes and for all staff who bought shoes. All of the shoe money went
to the March of Dimes. Thanks to LaJuana Yonts and Sherry Piper for taking
donations on the yard and thanks to all staff who gave a donation. A special
thank you to each team member for their money donations and for walking four
miles on the Rails to Trails at Powderly, Park. Also, thanks to Richard
Peterson who helped set up food tables on Walk Day.

the best team t-shirt award.
