Pa-Hsien

Seven humans attained immortality by merit of their actions. They were allowed to eat the peaches of immortality and are collectively known as Pa-Hsien.

Li's soul went to visit the philosopher Lao-Tzu. He left his body in the protection of a disciple who accidently cremated it. When Li returned he took the body of a tramp who had recently died of starvation.

Han Chung-Li is a smiling old man, Chang-Kuo-Lao is also an old man with a donkey who travels at lightning speed, Lan-Ts'ai-Ho is a minstrel, Lu-Tung-Pin is a hero who killed the Yellow Dragon, Han-Hsiang-Tzu and T'sao-Kuo-Chiu are disciples of Lu-Tung-Pin and Ho-Hsien-Ku is the only female immortal.
