Hide the Gavel! version 1.0

Object of the game (obviously): Hide the gavel from President Lewis

Strategy: This game is played on a treasure hunt premise. Chris Lewis will recieve hints as to who has the gavel. These hints can be given via paper mail, e-mail, phone message, or word-of-mouth. You can even leave bits of paper under his windshield wiper. The person who has the gavel passes the gavel to another person AND sends a clue to Chris Lewis. It is the responsibility of the gavel posessor to get a clue to Chris as to who the gavel went to. The gavel can be put in campus mail if it is put in some sort of envelope that conceals its contents. Remember, though, that if you put the gavel in mail, the timing of clue passing may be off. Timing is important. If you pass the gavel and immediately give Chris a clue, he'll probably reclaim the gavel and then we're SOL. Of course, if you wait a couple of weeks, the fun is gone, and you get jumped over, since the person who got the gavel has passed it on and given Chris a new clue.

Example (for the challenged):
Laura passes the gavel to President Rousch. A day later, she gives Chris a clue. President Rousch gives the gavel to Vann. Two days later, President Roush sends a clue. Vann gives the gavel to Samantha. A day after, Vann sends a clue to Chris. And it goes on. And though it may seem as though Chris will never catch the gavel, remember that if you time it right, he'll be chasing us all over campus, or going nuts because your clues are too obscure.
Also, it is probably best to keep the people involved to either APO people or others who know us (or Chris well--i.e.: Gov. professors, our Advisors (Plummer, Wyatt, and Bellver) etc.
