Seemingly the leader of the androids, number 20 is one of the first to make an appearance in the city south east of the southern capital. Like all androids he is powerful yet emotionless. This model uses feeders on his palm to gather energy from his opponents and is totally mechanical. Android 20 turns out to be Dr. Gero.
Android 19
One of the first of the two androids to appear, this model is the same type as android 20 and is killed quite quickly.
Android 18
18's twin sister, she too is half-human. Although at times it appears that android 17 is the one who calls the shot, she has her ways to coax him into what she want to do. Later she marries Krillin and has a child called Marron.
Android 17
He is the aggressor of all androids. Although he is at odds with his creator, Dr. Gero, he continued to search and destroy Son Goku, as it was part of his main programming. Android 17 is a cyborg, meaning that he is half human and half mechanical.
Android 16
Android 16 was never ment to be awakened, though when 17 killed Dr. Gero he woke him up. Bulma reprograms him to be good. When cell killes him, Gohan goes SSJ 2 for the first time! He never would fight unless he really had to. (killed by Cell)

Artificial 17
android created by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu in hell. He escaped through a portal into the land of the living (Earth) and fused with Android 17 to become Super 17.
Cell (Seru)
Android 21; created by Dr. Gero. He was completed in Future Trunks' timeline. Cell killed Future Trunks, stole his time machine, and traveled back to time to absorb Androids 17 and 18 to reach perfect form. The Z warriors defeated him, but he sacrificed himself in an attempt for a final victory by triggering the bombs in his body (Gokou teleported Cell to explode in Kaiou's planet to save the Earth), but regenerated from a single surviving brain cell. At the end, he is killed by Gohan. In hell, he allied with Freeza in an attempt to take over the Nether regions, but stopped by Gokou and Paiku-han. Later, he was upgraded by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu and allied with Freeza again to fight Gokou, but was defeated once again by Gokou.
