This adventure into the past, in search of our ancestors, was begun decades ago by Walter Curtis (1900-1965). His initial research provided a starting point from which to begin the journey. We wish to acknowledge his efforts and are grateful for his igniting our interest in finding our roots.
This web site begins with Jonathan Curtis, about which little is known and continues with Jonathan's son Job and Job's son Seth and to the present generation.

This family history is incomplete due to the lack of records from past centuries as well as limited time for research.

For the sake of authenticity the deeds, wills, letters, etc., have been copied as written which include misspelling of words, lack of punctuation, etc.

The individuals and dates included here have been carefully researched. However, we recognize that mistakes will likely occur and apologize for any omissions or inaccurate information that may be included.
