PHILLIP MATTHEW PROSSER

Born:  August 18, 1971

Died:  September 4, 1990

God hath not promised skies always blue,

Flowers - Strewn pathways all our lives through.

God hath not promised sun without rain,

Joy without sorrow, peace with out pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day,

Rest for the labor, Light for the way,

Grace for the trails, help from above,

Unfailing sympathy, Undying LOVE

Remembering the way you would say a word,
so soft not sure I heard.

Dreaming now I hear it again,
Hoping this night will never end.

There you stand smiling so sweet,
a shadowed vision at my feet.

I worry how you are,
you laugh and say "look sis, not even a scar."

I see the hurt and pain in your eyes,
that same look before you died.

You start to fade as you did that night,
not a word, not even a fight.

I wonder if you know how you are missed,
what your life would have held,
the love and bliss.

(I wrote this for my brother a yr after his death, It was hard for me to post it here,But I felt it belonged)
