Happy Heart
This poem is nothing fancy
And nothing in it rhymes.
Just thoughts from my heart,
written in black and white.
Because of friends like you.
You are the morning sunshine
No matter what the weather is.
There are so many kinds of friends
In this great big world of ours.
And I've been one of the lucky ones
To find good friends like you.
These words are thought within my heart.
Please know how true they are.
'cause friends like you are treasures.
And a blessing sent from God above.
