Match Results:
1. Harlem Heat with Jacquelyn defeated Vicious and Delicious with Vincent
After losing their former manager and several key tag team bouts, Harlem Heat seemed to be falling farther and farther out of championship contention. But, in Sturgis, the street tough brothers along with their new valet, Jacquelyn exhibited the skills and savvy that have led them to multiple belts. Fighting this up and coming NWO pairing Stevie Ray and Booker T not only looked sensational, but managed to be the first team to truly stagger big Scott Norton in the tag team division. When Norton did manage to drop his trademark shoulder breaker on Booker T, Jacquelyn jumped on the Norton's back, allowing Booker T to hit his Harlem Sidekick and score the pin.

2. K-Dawg defeated Rey Mysterio Jr.
Since joining the NWO, K-Dawg has not only shunned his former Luchador compatriots, but has also tried to destroy them. The most severe victim of his undeserved attacks was Mysterio, who suffered a severely sprained knee compliments of K-Dawg's Tequila Sunrise. Against doctor's orders, Mysterio returned to the ring for this no DQ match in hopes of settling the score. After a impressive opening flurry, it became apparent that Mysterio was still very severely injured. K-Dawg worked the former Cruiserweight Champ's leg mercilessly, only taking a break to try an unmask and disgrace his one time friend. Mysterio barely able to walk made one final attempt at a comeback with his trademark hurracanrana, but was caught in mid air and DDTed. Once again, Konnan applied his finisher and held it minutes after Mysterio submitted. Post match, Mysterio was taken from the ring on a stretcher.

3. Chris Benoit and Steve "Mongo" McMichael defeated Dean Malenko and Jeff Jarrett with Debra
The strange pairing of Malenko and Jarrett produced an equally strange outcome in a match that displayed both the cohesiveness of the Horsemen and the unbelievable resilience of the man of 1000 holds. After opening the match, Jarrett tagged in Malenko in less than a minute. Malenko started stong, but was eventually worn down by steady tags between Benoit and McMichael. When Malenko finally tagged Jarrett, McMichael waited within the ring, desperate to avenge the desertion of his wife. But the US Champion had other plans. In a WCW first, Jarrett struck his opponent and proceeded to force McMichael on top of him for the pin. The maneuver allowed Jarrett to be eliminated and escape the former Chicago Bear's wrath, but left an exhausted Malenko in an unenviable position. The Ice Man fought valiantly, but was pinned after two tombstone piledrivers and a Benoit headbutt splash.

4. Alex Wright defeated Chris Jericho in the Cruiserweight Title Match
After losing the belt as quickly as he gained it, Jericho came at Wright with the intensity that has made him one of WCW's hottest young grapplers. Despite Wright's attempts to slow the bout's pace, Lionheart hit the champ with everything from springboard dropkicks to power slams. The momentum turned, however, when the match went to the outside. Wright's multiple slams and strikes took the fire out of Jericho, but the former champ soon answered back with his trademark Lionsault. When Jericho attempted a roll up pin, Wright reversed the hold, held the tights, and scored a 3 count of his own.

5. Ric Flair defeated Syxx
Of all the members of the NWO's Wolfpack, Syxx's disdain for tradition and the former 13 time World Champ is unparalleled. Besides costing both men countless matches, the feud also spurred on Flair's split with Roddy Piper. The Nature Boy took his rage right to the former Cruiserweight champ with a series of devastating chops, counters, and the figure four leglock. But Syxx utilizing his speed and martial arts skills wore down Flair and took control of the match. Experience overcame youth, however, when Syxx attempted his Bucking Bronco maneuver for the second time in the match. Flair countered with a shot to the groin, rolled up Syxx with his feet on the ropes and scored the pin.

6. Curt Hennig defeated Diamond Dallas Page with Kimberly
Since Hennig walked out on a tag match with DDP at Bash at the Beach, these two fierce competitors have plagued each other with everything from sneak attacks to locker room brawls. This grudge match saw DDP taking the fight to Hennig early with fisticuffs. But after only a few minutes, Hennig back in full form utilized his in ring experience to outwit and out wrestle Page for the majority of the bout. When the referee was momentarily dazed from an accidental collision, Hennig exposed a turnbuckle. After whacking him on the cold steel, a determined DDP managed to kick out of a Hennig plex and work back to his feet. DDP applied a reverse piledriver to his opponent, but Hennig's foot struck the ref and knocked him down again. Ric Flair who has been courting Hennig for the Horsemen came down to drop Page, but received a Diamond Cutter instead. The distraction did allow Hennig another shot at the Hennig plex. Page was unable to escape again.

7. The Giant defeated Macho Man Randy Savage with Elizabeth
Savage is known for infecting his opponents with the Madness an uncontrollable thirst for revenge and blood that causes one to make match costing mistakes. For weeks, the Macho Man has toyed with the Giant's mind, hoping to confuse the former champ and steal a Road Wild victory. But the Giant the most enormous athlete in sport's today looked more focused than ever. Even though Savage dominated the majority of the match by focusing on the Giant's leg, the 7 foot plus superstar would not be denied. Going for a second strike from the top rope, Savage was caught by the Giant's massive hand and choke slammed for the pin.

8. DQ: The Steiners with Ted DiBiase defeated The Outsiders in the World Tag Team Title Match
The Outsiders stole their belts, tricked them into false contracts, punked them in the dressing rooms, caused them to be arrested, and ran them off the road. The Steiners still continued to grow stronger and more popular. With the addition of DiBiase, Rick and Scott Steiner had finally gained an advantage on the champs in their first title shot in months. But Kevin Nash and Scott Hall came to Sturgis to make an important statement even without cheating and sneak attacks, they are two of the toughest men in the sport. Rick and Scott Steiner. opened the bout strongly, but soon fell prey to the Outsider's brutal style of wrestling. After a hammered Scott Steiner. made a crucial tag to brother Rick, pandemonium broke loose in the ring. The Steiners managed to eject Nash from the ring and set up Hall for their off the top Steiner dog. Rick covered Hall for the pin, but Nash managed to pull referee Nick Patrick out of the ring. Enraged, Patrick disqualified the champs, giving the win but not the belts to the Steiners.

9. Hollywood Hogan defeated Lex Luger in the World Title Match
In the most watched match in the history of television, Luger shocked the world by making the legendary Hogan cry "I quit." Less than a week later, Luger walked into Sturgis as the World's Champion and, for the first time in his year long war with Hogan, the main event favorite. Infuriated by his defeat, Hogan exercised every hold and cheap shot in his arsenal. He dominated Luger for a majority of the match, but couldn't hold the Total Package down. In a replay of Luger's Nitro victory, NWO members stormed the ring when Luger prepared to rack Hogan for the second consecutive time. And, true to history, Luger fought them all off without losing his momentum. But there was one element Luger had not expected. A man dressed as Sting also made his way to the ring. While the referee tried to regain order, the man struck Luger with a bat and cost him the bout. No more information about the incident was available at press time.
