Caleb Gervin 6'1" PG/SG 175lbs. Cathedral City, California (H.S.) Gervin is unknown! Most people havent even seen him play before, because he didnt attend any summer camps or play in AAU. Some people that have seen him says that he is a MAJOR sleeper and that he could be a Allen Iverson type of guard in Louisville's system. Caleb is the nephew of Basketball Hall of Famer George Gervin. After averaging 31.2 points, 6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 4.8 steals for Cathedral City, he earned All-CIF first team all-state selection for the third time in a roll, All Desert Valley League MVP (3 times), and All-Los Angeles Times honors for the past three years. He shot 52 percent from the field, netting 61 three-point goals, and shooting 73 percent from the free throw line. In his four-years at Cathedral City he hold the career school record for points (2,647), three-point goals (227), and steals (353). Caleb lead his team to the CIF AA championship game in his junior year, scoring 31 points. Gervin is very athletic, he can shoot from three-point range, penetrate and create his own shot or take it strong and dunk it at 6'1"! Caleb chosed Louisville over Florida State, Arizona State, Pepperdine, and USC. Clark Francis of the Hoopscoop rates Gervin at No. 115.
