If you don't find a listing on this site, (for deaths which occurred prior to 1915 since those are the ones I have recorded and since beyond that you should be able to get death certificates directly from the county), feel free to contact me with the name and approximate date of death (if known) of your ancestor, and I'll be happy to check other cemetery listings to see if I have any records of your ancestor. Currently, I have these older records for over 120 cemeteries.

NOTE: If you choose to e-mail me, please be aware that it may take a while before you receive a reply. I am currently in the military and my free time for the internet is often (but not always) very limited.

Civil war soldier who was found frozen to death in a near by Barn.

Donald Thompson was the first person brought up on this Hillside Cemetery in a Hearse(1978). All others up until this time were either hand carried or taken on a sleigh drawn by mule due to the the path and bridge leading up to the cemetery being inaccessible by motor vehicles.

My thanks to Barry Lawson and his wife "Cookie" who were kind enough to take me to several cemeteries that I would never have found without their assistance.
