• Go swimming in the shark invested Lido
• Visit Ruislip Crematorium
• Go mad in Mad Bess Woods
• Park your car outside your house and wait approx. 10 minutes for a parking ticket.
• Go to the library to use the computers. They're the latest make, made in 1976. Hours of fun on them. It only takes 1 hour to find the latest Jane Austin novel. Marvellous.
• Watch Hillingdon Football Club lose at home over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...
• Fall in the boggy motte at Manor Farm
• Join in with all the fun at 'Old Man's Rugby' a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Action takes place at the bowling green. It's only for members, but you get a grand view from the library (Reference section)
• Watch the lastest Guys and Dolls production at Ruislip's newest and grandest theatre. Winston Churchill Hall, built in 1965.
• If the excitement of it all hasn't completely knocked you out (quite literally) then why not visit Ruislip High Street for all the latest fashions, the 1940's look suits everyone

Well, I think I've given you enough ideas of what to do in Ruislip.

If you do not live in Ruislip then why not pay a little visit to the disused toilets opposite St. Martin's Church, half a mile walk from the station but still you can have a look in all those modern shops I was telling you about. But be warned WHSmith has recently had a revamp. The sign is, wait for it, bright blue! Aghhhhhh!!!! Please help, the colour's too extreme for us Ruislipers. We prefer browns and greys. Rather like it was in the old days.
