I am a 19 year old male at Murray State University (don't ask where it is, just believe me) who lives in Kentucky but was born in Cincinnati.

Leslie is my wonderful, beautiful, absolutely perfect girlfriend. I love her with all my heart and she makes me the happiest person alive. She is the reason why I'm in this small town of Murray for college, but its worth every second that I get to see her. You see, we used to live over 4 and a half hours apart when she lived in Madisonville and I lived in Cincinnati. It's a neat story of how we met. One summer, I went with my friend, Steve, to Myrtle Beach for about a week. I loved it there but I was quite miserable with my current girlfriend at the time. My friend, however, was in a wonderful relationship with his girlfriend (I set them up) and was missing his g-friend really bad. One night, he decided to call his g-friend because he was missing her so bad so I became really depressed. I decided to go out for a walk on the beach. It was a wonderful night out that night: the air was warm, the sound of the crashing surf was soothing, and the illuminating moon was lighting the path before me. But that wasn't the only thing that the moon was shining off of. As I looked before me, I saw the moon lighting off the most wonderful head of blonde hair that I had ever seen. I couldn't help but to wonder if the face of the owner of the hair was as beautiful as the hair was itself. When she got close enough to see, I just about died. It was love at first sight. The purest, most enriching love that I could have ever imagined. Her face was majestic, the most perfect, the most wonderful, the most angelic face I had ever seen. I wanted to bend over and kiss her right then and there, but I decided not to because it might affect any chance I would have with her. I realized that there was only one logical thing that I could do and that was to follow her. Yes, I know that some of you think that I stalked her, but it was for the better. I mean, I fell in love with her the first time I saw her, what else could I do? So, I followed her back to the hotel and she happened to be staying at the same hotel that I was staying at, which made me even happier. She stopped and sat down on a wall and I walked on by because I am the shyest person in the world (and I had to go to the bathroom really, really bad.) I walked up and down this one hall about twenty times just looking for a bathroom and looking to see if she was still sitting on the wall. Finally, I found the bathroom and I relieved myself which was much needed. I then washed my hands and rushed back outside to make sure that she was still there but she was gone!!! I thought I was going to go insane!!!! I mean, the girl of my dreams, the one I was meant to be with for the rest of my life had just disappeared!!!! I didn't know what I was going to do. I ran back down the hallway that I had come from and I looked in the pool area, but she wasn't there. I looked in the indoor pool, then in the sauna, then in the whirlpool, then in the weightroom, but I couldn't find her. I was about to give up and leave, but she suddenly appeared in front of my face like magic. I tried to whisper a "hello" to her but it wouldn't come out. All I could manage was a really big, dumb smile and what I received back was the most precious gift anyone has ever given to me: a smile. She smiled the most wonderfully beautiful smile I had ever recieved in my life. I cherished that smile then and I still do now. We started talking after I used the wonderful pick up line of "Hey, you look pretty much as bored as I do." (Guys, don't use this line, its a bad idea.) Well, we agreed to spend the next night together and I got her phone number and address and as soon as I got back to Cincinnati, I called her. Now, after two years and over four hours between us, we are still going out and closer than ever. I am still as madly in love with her as I was when I first met her and that is never going to change. I love you, Leslie!!!!
