Murray defeated Fort Campbell by a score of 49-17.  Murray recorded 14 first downs and 317 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized eight times for 70 yards and lost a fumble.  Fort Campbell recorded 16 first downs and 224 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 60 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Charvelle McCallister led Murray’s ground game with 77 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.  Hunter Utley completed eight of nine passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns.  Jorden Duffy caught four passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns.  Jaiden Jackson added two receptions for 77 yards.  Tommy Waldrop caught one pass for 54 yards.  Jorden Duffy returned two kickoffs for 36 yards.  Tommy Waldrop led the defense with five solo and five assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for a touchdown.  Kayden Rogers added four solo and one assisted tackles. 

Conner Brinkmeyer led Fort Campbell’s ground game with 85 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Matthew Middleton added 20 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Matthew Middleton completed 10 of 24 passes for 111 yards with one interception.  Jordan Edwards caught six passes for 53 yards.  Raymond Barnett added one reception for 28 yards.  Jordan Edwards returned one kickoff for 38 yards.  KeDrick Eaddy returned five kickoffs for 71 yards.  KeShawn Daniels led the defense with three solo tackles.

DeSales defeated Paducah Tilghman tonight by a score of 49-14 in a contest between two teams that came into the game with 4-1 records.  DeSales line appeared to dominate play tonight as they averaged 6.5 per rushing attempt and held Paducah Tilghman to 1.1 yards per carry.  DeSales recorded 16 first downs and 397 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized 12 times for 156 yards and lost a fumble.  Paducah Tilghman recorded eight first downs and 216 yards of total offense.  The Blue Tornado were penalized five times for 27 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

James Johnson led DeSales ground game with 118 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Antione Johnson carried the ball six times for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Darren Hollenkamp added 18 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Jayden Scroggin carried the ball twice for six yards and a touchdown.  Demarcus Avery completed three of three passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns.  Jayden Scroggin completed three of seven passes for 46 yards.  Demetri Scott caught two passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.  James Johnson added two receptions for 33 yards.  Antione Johnson caught a 14 yard touchdown reception.  Antione Johnson returned three punts for 49 yards with a long return of 19 yards.  Demetri Scott led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Darren Hollenkamp added three solo and two assisted tackles.  DeJuan Watkins recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.  James Johnson recovered a fumble he returned for 28 yards.  Derek Hollenkamp intercepted a pass he returned for 60 yards.

Damien Ford led Paducah Tilghman’s ground game with 33 yards on 17 carries.  Camdon Marshall completed 10 of 22 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Jayden Freeman caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Anton Jones added three receptions for 24 yards. John George added a 58 yard touchdown reception.  Jayden Freeman returned four kickoffs for 72 yards with a long return of 28 yards.  Turner Humphrey led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Rasheed Reed added one solo and five assisted tackles. Cameron Sabbs recorded two solo and four assisted tackles.

Corbin defeated Lafayette tonight by a score of 21-7.  Lafayette took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter but Corbin took a 14-7 lead early in the second quarter.  The deciding point of the game came when Lafayette mishandled a punt deep in their own territory and Corbin recovered the ball and scored on a one yard run by Nick Yeager to make the score 21-7 midway through the second quarter.  Lafayette was unable to mount a consistent offense and Corbin earned the victory.  Corbin recorded 21 first downs and 339 yards of total offense.  The Redhounds were penalized 16 times for 173 yards and lost two fumbles.  Lafayette recorded eight first downs and 133 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized six times for 90 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Nick Yeager led Corbin’s ground game with 109 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Cameron Combs carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards and a touchdown.  Treyveon Longmire added 24 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Cameron Combs completed 10 of 20 passes for 128 yards.  Jacob Steely caught five passes for 50 yards.  Dakota Patterson added four receptions for 87 yards.  Jacob Baker punted five times for a 42.2 average with a long kick of 53 yards with three kicks inside the 20 yard line.  Austin Lewis led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.  Cole Shelton added five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.  Brayden Reynolds recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards.  Josh Oliver chipped in with three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Owen Hellard led Lafayette’s ground game with 19 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Oumar Toure completed seven of 19 passes for 126 yards with one interception.  Noah Curtsinger caught four passes for 50 yards.  John Combs caught one pass for 68 yards.  Austin Anderson returned one punt for 19 yards.  Chase Bradford led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Carson Cooper added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Jay Brank recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  James Godfrey chipped in with five solo tackles.  Brandon Little added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.

Bryan Station scored a touchdown in the closing minute to earn a 19-17 come-from-behind victory over Henry Clay.  There was a bit of magic in this play for Bryan Station as Terrick Mulder connected to Damin Green for an 18 yards gain but he fumbled the ball at the 12 yard line.  However, an alert Antonio Davis scooped up the ball at the eight yard line and ran in for the winning score.  Bryan Station recorded 11 first downs and 231 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized three times for 25 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Henry Clay recorded 14 first downs and 224 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Joey Bond led Bryan Station’s ground game with 79 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Amodeus Taylor carried the ball 14 times for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Terrick Mulder completed three of seven passes for 44 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Amodeus Taylor completed two of four passes for 28 yards.  Damin Green caught three passes for 24 yards.  Vincent Bond added one reception for 30 yards.  Damin Green returned two kickoffs for 59 yards with a long return of 38 yards.  Amodeus Taylor returned one kickoff for 58 yards.  JaMalachi Hudd led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles.  Bryson Fields added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  George Taul recorded two solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.  Damin Green added four solo and one assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted two passes.

Preston Stacy led Henry Clay’s ground game with 121 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries.  Christian Barrentine completed 11 of 17 passes for 96 yards with two interceptions.  Preston Stacy caught four passes for 58 yards.  Ashton Foos added three receptions for 23 yards.  Preston Stacy returned two kickoffs for 40 yards.  Chris Dabney led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Robert Crosby added five solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  William Webb recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  Anthony Sharp chipped in with four solo tackles.  Miles Meegan added two solo and two assisted tackles.

Covington Catholic continues to dominate with a 45-0 shut out victory over Boone County.  Covington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 309 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized once for 59 yards.  Boone County recorded four first downs and 53 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Ryan Schneider led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 51 yards and a touchdown on one carry.  Luke Knipper carried the ball once for 26 yards.  Caleb Jacob completed seven of nine passes for 171 yards and four touchdowns.  Michael Mayer caught four passes for 71 yards and three touchdowns.  Andy Molique caught a 51 yard touchdown pass.  Luke Stegman led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 13 yard loss.  Owen Nally added three solo and one assisted tackles.  Michael Mayer recorded three solo tackles.  Carter Martin added two solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.

Evan Curee led Boone County’s ground game with 26 yards on five carries.  Samuel Brown completed four of eight passes for 16 yards with one interception.  Eli Rossi caught two passes for 10 yards.  Dave Bodenbender led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Skylar Sears, Dominic Winglew, Adam Lauer, and Blake Hessling each recorded two solo tackles.

Scott County rebounded from a shut out loss to Frederick Douglass last week with a 57-21 road victory over Ryle.  Scott County recorded 19 first downs and 476 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 62 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Ryle recorded 11 first downs and 223 yards of total offense.  The Raiders were penalized four times for 29 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Bronson Brown led Scott County’s ground game with 171 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries.  Phillip Garner carried the ball 12 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns.  Cade McKee completed five of eight passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Mikaleb Coffey caught four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown.  Micah McClave caught a 32 yard touchdown reception.  Micah McClave returned one punt for 39 yards.  Campton Martin and Mikaleb Coffey each returned a kickoff for 28 and 22 yards respectively.  AJ Young led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles.  Sam Daniel added four solo tackles.  Rylan Reed and Austin Taylor each recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.  Jeremy Hamilton and Campton Martin each returned an interception for 40 and 23 yards respectively.

Connor Lee led Ryle’s ground game with 70 yards on five carries.  Kyle England carried the ball 15 times for 68 yards and a touchdown.  Keegan Stanken completed 10 of 24 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Connor Lee caught three passes for 22 yards.  Ryan Patrick added one pass for 24 yards and John Corker added a 23 yard touchdown reception.  John Corker returned four kickoffs for 171 yards including an 84 yard touchdown return.  Derrin Carr returned two kickoffs for 60 yards including one return for 36 yards.  Mathias Cusick led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Jackson Belk added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Luke Bradshaw recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.  Ryan Patrick added two solo tackles and intercepted a pass.

Eastern Kentucky utilized a punishing ground game and a defense that managed to at least keep Tennessee State University’s vaunted air attack under control in a 42-16 victory.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 22 first downs and 525 yards of total offense.  The Colonels rolled up 379 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.  The Colonels were penalized eight times for 74 yards.  Tennessee State recorded 20 first downs and 382 yards of total offense.  The Tigers recorded 270 yards through the air but the Colonels kept them from the end zone through the air.  The Tigers were penalized 10 times for 92 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Daryl McCleskey led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 202 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.  Alonzo Booth carried the ball 12 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns.  Parker McKinney scored a touchdown on the ground.  Parker McKinney completed 13 of 24 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown.  Keyion Dixon caught four passes for 44 yards.  Daryl McCleskey also caught four passes for 31 yards.  Jackson Beerman recorded three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.  Jerome Gross returned three punts for 47 yards with a long return of 29 yards and Davion Ross returned a kickoff for 38 yards.  Aaron Patrick led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Corey Glass also recorded three solo and five assisted tackles.  Malik Mays recovered a fumble he returned 64 yards and intercepted a pass.  Daulson Fitzpatrick intercepted a pass he returned 28 yards.  Taquan Evans chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.

Seth Rowland led Tennessee State’s ground game with 71 yards on eight carries.  Te’kendrick Roberson carried the ball 14 times for 20 yards and a touchdown.  Cameron Rosendahl completed 20 of 41 passes for 270 yards with two interceptions.  Chris Rowland caught eight passes for 95 yards.  Lawrence Segree added three receptions for 37 yards.  Steven Newbold recorded two receptions for 55 yards.  Kaleb Mosley punted five times for a 47.4 average with a long punt of 61 yards with two punts inside the 20 yard line.  Antonio Zita kicked field goals of 28, 35, and 36 yards.  Ronnie Killings led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles.  Josh Green added six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  Rhashaun Epting recorded three solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.

Covington Catholic rolled up 420 yards of total offense on their way to a 45-6 victory over Cooper.  Covington Catholic recorded 15 first downs and 420 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized twice for 16 yards.  Cooper recorded six first downs and 93 yards of total offense.  The Jaguars were penalized once for five yards.

Michael Boydston led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 82 yards on five carries.  Reid Hummel carried the ball eight times for 59 yards and one touchdown.  Daniel Felix recorded 39 yards and two touchdowns on five carries.  Caleb Jacob completed 10 of 13 passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns.  Michael Mayer caught four passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns.  Ethan Reardon added three receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown.  Andy Molique caught three passes for 36 yards.  Michael Mayer led the defense with two solo and two assisted tackles.  Noah Powers, Jackson Hodge, and Luke Stegman each recorded two solo tackles.

Frederick Douglass utilized their rock-solid defense and a cast of big play performers on offense to defeat Scott County by a score of 36-0.  This was a game between two bitter rivals in Central Kentucky with big implications in the race for top honors in Class 5A this season.  Tonight featured the Broncos dominating defense and a one handed circus catch on a 17 yard touchdown pass from Josh McClurg to Dane Key.  Frederick Douglass recorded 18 first downs and 371 yards of total offense.  The Broncos were penalized six times for 40 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Scott County recorded 10 first downs and 191 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 65 yards.

Josh McClurg led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 103 yards on 15 carries.  Cameron Dunn carried the ball five times for 81 yards and two touchdowns.  Devin Neal added 58 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Darius Neal chipped in with 31 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Josh McClurg completed four of eight passes for 56 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Devin Neal caught two passes for 27 yards.  Dane Key caught a 17 yard touchdown pass.  Devin Neal led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Dalyn Wilson added six solo and two assisted tackles.  Jaylin Bybee recorded six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.

Phillip Garner led Scott County’s ground game with 62 yards on 19 carries.  Jeremy Hamilton carried the ball seven times for 33 yards.  Bronson Brown recorded 32 yards on 11 carries.  Cade McKee completed one of five passes for 48 yards.  Mikaleb Coffey completed his only pass for 30 yards.  Micah McClave and Bronson Brown each caught one pass for 48 and 30 yards respectively.  Mikaleb Coffey returned four kickoffs for 80 yards.  Rylan Reed led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Sam Daniel added four solo tackles.  Campton Martin recorded two solo and two assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass.
