UT Martin coach Anthony Stewart started the following lineup: 6-6 Gr. Dominique Williams, 6-3 Fr. Parrish Hewitt, 6-8 Jr. Jailen Gill, 5-10 Jr. Delfincko Bogan, and 6-3 Jr. Darius Thompson.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale countered with 6-7 Sr. Zach Charles, 6-6 So. DeAndre Dishman, 6-9 Jr. Nick Mayo, 6-2 Fr. JacQuess Hobbs, and 6-4 Fr. Dedric Boyd.

 

6-2 Sr. Matthew Butler hit a three point basket in the closing seconds to give UT Martin a 70-69 victory over Eastern Kentucky University.  The game was tied four times and there were four lead changes in the game.  UT Martin shot 54.7% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Skyhawks connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 44.1% from the field including 14 of 33 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 UT Martin turnovers.

 

Delfincko Bogan led UT Martin with 19 points including three three point baskets.  6-8 So. Mike Fofana added 15 points and six rebounds.  Matthew Butler recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and seven assists.  6-8 Jr. Fatodd Lewis pulled down eight rebounds.  Dominique Williams chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds. 

 

Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky with a career night of 36 points including seven three point baskets and five rebounds.  5-10 So. DuJuanta Weaver added 12 points on four three point baskets.  DeAndre Dishman recorded eight points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  JacQuess Hobbs pulled down five rebounds and dished out seven assists.

Kendall Spray, and 5-8 Jr. Emanye Robertson.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 5-11 Jr. Abby Wright, 5-11 Fr. Bria Bass, 6-3 Sr. Madison Wood, 5-8 Jr. Kenyia Johnson, and 5-8So. Shay Solomon.

 

Eastern Kentucky University got off to a disastrous start trailing by 22 in the first half before they rallied to pull within 10 points in the second half before falling to UT Martin by a score of 72-54.  UT Martin shot 43.3% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line.  The Skyhawks connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 22 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 38.5% from the field including nine of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 UT Martin turnovers.

 

Kendall Spray led UT Martin with 19 points including five three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Ashton Feldhaus added 13 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.  Janekia Mason recorded 12 points.  Chelsey Perry added 11 points, eight rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.  6-2 Fr. Maddie Waldrop also scored 11 points and pulled down five rebounds. 

 

Abby Wright led Eastern Kentucky with 24 points including five three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Bria Bass added 13 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  Shay Solomon chipped in with eight points.

Tennessee State University trailed 42-36 after three quarters but rallied and earned a 59-58 victory over Eastern Kentucky University on two free throws by Taylor Roberts in the closing seconds.  There were 13 ties and 14 lead changes in the game.  Tennessee State shot 32.7% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on 22 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 19 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 36.5% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Tennessee State turnovers.

Bria Bass, 6-2 Jr. Madison Pierce, 5-8 Jr. Shay Solomon, and 5-8 Jr. A’Queen Hayes.  Austin Peay State University David Midlick countered with 5-10 Jr. Keisha Gregory, 5-8 Jr. Falon Baker, 6-0 Sr. Brianne Alexander, 5-6 Fr. Brinah Ferby, and 5-4 Sr. Bri Williams.

 

Austin Peay defeated Eastern Kentucky by a score of 59-45.  Austin Peay shot 42.9% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Governors connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 23 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 36.5% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on six of 16 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored five points off 16 Austin Peay turnovers.

 

Falon Baker led Austin Peay with 25 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.  Brianne Alexander added nine points and eight rebounds.  Keisha Gregory recorded six points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.

 

Abby Wright led Eastern Kentucky with 13 points and seven rebounds.  A’Queen Hayes added 11 points, eight rebounds, and two steals.  6-3 Sr. Madison Wood recorded seven points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.
