Franklin County defeated Collins by a score of 61-49.  Franklin County shot 45.3% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers.  Collins shot 41.3% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  They connected on six of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.

 

5-5 Sr. Kindall Talley led Franklin County with 18 points including three three point baskets and four assists.  5-5 Sr. Emily Jordan added 12 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  5-10 8th Grader Patience Laster recorded 12 points and nine rebounds.

 

5-11 Jr. Trinity Warfield led Collins with 13 points and eight rebounds.  5-8 So. Olivia Federle added 10 points and five rebounds.  5-7 Jr. Hallie Renfro recorded nine points including two three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. Jeian Hayes added eight points.

Klair Merrell.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Jr. Regan Berger, 5-9 Jr. Raquael Reese, 6-1 So. Ta’Ziah Jenks, 5-5 So. Hope Sivori, and 5-3 Jr. Sydney Rivette.

 

Mercy Academy eked out a 65-63 victory over Northwestern.  Mercy shot 47.1% from the field including 11 of 17 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on only six of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.  Northwestern shot 60.8% from the field including five of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed 19 turnovers.

 

Sydney Rivette led Mercy with 21 points including six three point baskets.  Hope Sivori added 14 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and five steals.  Ta’Ziah Jenks recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds.

 

Madison Layden led Northwestern with 18 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  Kendall Bostic added 17 points and six rebounds.

Sacred Heart trailed 25-21 at halftime but rallied to earn a 47-44 victory over Pickerington Central (OH).  Sacred Heart shot 33.3% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Pickerington Central turnovers.  Pickerington Central shot 37.5% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

5-5 So. Erin Toller led Sacred Heart with 21 points including two three point baskets, seven of seven free throws, and nine rebounds.  Grace Berger added 11 points and eight rebounds.

 

Bexley Wallace led Pickerington Central with 12 points and four rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Jada Tate added eight points and four rebounds.  Kyla Whitehead recorded six points and five rebounds.

Allen County-Scottsville defeated Central Hardin by a score of 58-52.  There were six ties and six lead changes in this game.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 42.9% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Lady Patriots connected on 20 of 36 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 20 Central Hardin turnovers.  Central Hardin shot 35.6% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bruins connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 22 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers. 

 

Sarah Sutton led Allen County-Scottsville with 26 points including 14 of 19 free throws and pulled down 15 rebounds.  Mason Towery added 16 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

 

Monica Lindsey led Central Hardin with 21 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Peyton Beger added 14 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.

Casey County outscored Wayne County 18-8 in the final quarter to defeat the Lady Cardinals by a score of 50-38.  Casey County shot 28% from the field including five of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on 19 of 24 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 18 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 37% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and did not score off seven Casey County turnovers.

 

Gena Cravens led Casey County with 18 points including eight of nine free throws and five rebounds.  Myla McGowan added nine points on three three point baskets.  Lauren Lee also scored nine points.

Andrew Taylor led Corbin with 19 points and eight rebounds.  Alex Byrley added 17 points and seven rebounds.  Matthew Taylor recorded 12 points and six rebounds.

Scott County trailed 23-9 in the first quarter but rallied to defeat Ballard by a score of 69-63.  Scott County shot 37.7% from the field including three of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 26 of 35 free throws, pulled down 57 rebounds, and scored five points of 15 Ballard turnovers.  Ballard shot 35.9% from the field including zero of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Bruins connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 25 Scott County turnovers.

 

Michael Moreno led Scott County with 18 points, 18 rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.  6-2 Sr. Cooper Robb added 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Bryce Long recorded 11 points and six rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Glenn Covington chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds.  Lorenzo Williams recorded four rebounds, and three steals.
